After our first win last week we lost to the top team in the league by 6-0 .We started well and held them for the first half hour then we lost our way and we lost our shape and the goals came easily for cashmere , not one to make excuses but we where missing a few key players and carrying a few to many injuries so it was one to foget . player of the day Leigh chitty

 

 

 

sat 16 th june Rangers 2 v masters 0 @ Eric Adams park.

 

Once again we struggled to get a team on the park but i managed to get help from mark williams from sundays 1st  team (thanks Barry) and also barry and young BK from the reserves thanks guys.We where without last weeks man of the match leigh our goalkeeper , but i found a hero in Alan McCall who did a splendid job in goal and was in no way to blame for the first goal of the game which was the best goal of the season so far just a pitty Brady rose above everyone in his own six yard box to head it past the flying scotsman good on yu Brady of course he did say sorry to everyone.We also had a young lad making his second appearance for us this year called John swallow who had an outstanding game for such a young lad keep up the good work . We had several good chances to get a goal back but it wasnt going to be our day and Rangers scored the second of the game with fifteen to go. Player of the day Malcolm Baxter. PS Neil Purkiss also missed a penelty sorry mate.

 

 

sat 23rd june  Masters 5 v woolston /Tech 1 @ Bexley

 

This was a real six pointer a game we needed to win to keep us above tech, after earlier in the season they gave us a real lesson in football going down 5-1 away . we set about them right from the start with a few new possitional changes young swallow started at centre back with another young player to watch out for in the future darren ager with his much older brother playing at left back , and Brady demoted to the bench after last weeks og. I also had  Wayne McTague up front with Paul rowse playing his third game for us . we soon moved into a 2 goal lead then tech got a penalty after young swallow handeled in the box a bit harsh really that made it 2-1 but we went into half time 3-1 up after some great work from Andy on the left wing and Andrea on the right , young swallow reedemed himself to get the third.We carried on in the second half determind to erase that result earlier in the season and that we did adding 2 more goals ,The big man Phillips also made his third appearance of the year and had a fine game leading from the back . But man of the match had to go to Paul rowse who capped off his 3rd game with 3 well taken goals well done mate.
